Pico & Kooker provides hands-on legal assistance in structuring, drafting, negotiating, interpreting,
managing and enforcing complex high value commercial transactions. Eva’s breadth of experience
enables her to quickly adapt to cover a broad range of client needs across structured products,
business and policy development, compliance and due diligence. Eva and her co-founder, Jonathan
Kooker have represented and acted on behalf of lenders, global corporations and other market
participants across a range of industries including financial services, infrastructure and

Some representative engagements include working within the in-house legal department for a
German subsidiary of a French multinational company advising the commercial and operational
teams on multiple sales & service agreements covering the delivery of aviation products to the
public sectors in the EU, South East Asia, Australia, India, Brazil, Middle East and Sub-Saharan African
Previous to founding Pico & Kooker, Eva was a consultant at Axiom Global and an in-house legal
counsel at KfW Bankengruppe. In addition, she has worked at some of the most recognized global
law firms, including Clifford Chance and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Frankfurt, and Bryan Cave
Leighton Paisner in London.
Eva attended the University of Adelaide for her undergraduate in health sciences and her law degree
in which she graduated with honors. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in finance from the Johann
Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt.
She was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of South Australia as a Barrister and Solicitor in
2003. Since 2007, Eva was admitted to practice in England and Wales and registered to practice
originally as a European lawyer, and from 2020 as a foreign lawyer at the Frankfurt Bar. She is a
member of the Irish law society.
Eva is a native English and Portuguese speaker and has high proficiency in German. In addition, she
understands French and Spanish.
